Vacancy Back End Developer

Vacature Back End Developer

You love to work on unusual, out-of-the-ordinary solutions,

for example in the complex international world of logistics! With your knowledge and skills, you’ll help us make TrackOnline, the cloud platform for registering and tracking packaging, even better. TrackOnline is a multi-device solution that provides flexible insight into where packaging stands and goes. Whether it is carts, plates, barrels, plastic pallets or shipping containers. By attaching IoT tags to packaging, it can be tracked using, for example, RFID or (GeoFenced) GPS.

Bexter is a thought leader in this market and wants to maintain and strengthen its position. As a Back End Developer, you can make your contribution to this.

What does Bexter do?

With our software, we offer the complete solution for asset management of packaging throughout the supply chain. Worldwide. Our customers are mainly in logistics and that is a real no-nonsense business where it is hard work in a very dynamic and international environment. On the other hand, the culture has traditionally been quite conservative. However, this is changing rapidly and the business is looking more and more to innovative solutions. Bexter contributes to this with TrackOnline. TrackOnline is the packaging registration platform in the cloud. Packaging represents a substantial value for many logistics companies and is not just a closing entry. And if they know exactly where their packaging is and when it will be returned or forwarded to the next customer, they can earn or save a lot of money. It’s just how you look at it. It’s not for nothing that a lot of private equity is getting into this business. We are growing rapidly, also internationally, and in order to maintain our lead in the market, we are looking for committed and enthusiastic professionals who want to work on this.

What do you get a kick out of?

Programming! And especially that you can think along. You want to contribute and you especially like working on one software solution, ours and that’s TrackOnline. To continuously improve our solution and make it suitable for clients all over the world. With lots of possibilities from the front-end, so it’s up to you as a Back End Developer to build the ultimate user experience together with the Front-enders. Whether they open TrackOnline from their phone, tablet or laptop. You know how to unlock all the data. On the one hand you love versatility, because we work with very diverse parties and packaging products. With equally diverse challenges that we want to facilitate. On the other hand, you will really be working in a niche, because there are very few parties that do what we can, or vice versa. That makes you and your work very specialized.

Who are you and what have you achieved?

You are just like us; professional, involved and passionate. You can be a junior or already a senior, but at least you have experience with .NET and Azure. You like to be part of a team and contribute to the development of TrackOnline. You’re not a code whiz, but have an active input. We therefore do not judge you on the number of lines you write per day, but on your results. You have good communication skills and experience with agile & scrum. You have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English languages!

This is what we have to offer you

  • A job at Bexter! The thought leader in logistics in the area of packaging software.
  • A position with a lot of freedom, independence and a good salary. We currently work a lot from home, but our colleagues also enjoy coming to the office.
  • Obviously a super nice company to work for, but that’s what all IT clubs say these days. We can emphasize this, but we are not the toilet duck. We’re not going to convince you with hip language, a relaxed atmosphere, caffé lattes and trips abroad. For a little developer who wants more, these are no longer special extras. Are you curious about what you are here for? Then respond now.
